David Kaufman, CEO & Founder, Voyant, Inc.
David drives the vision and overall business strategy for Voyant. Previously, he was founder and managing director of the Gossamer Group, LLC, an IT consultancy serving the financial services market, where he led the creation of numerous innovative and award-winning projects for Fortune 500 enterprises. David has also held CEO positions at Political Decision Systems, an information systems company specializing in mathematical algorithms and mapping software, and Persuasive Technologies, a provider of private collaborative networks for law enforcement and trial attorneys.
Troy Mutter, President & Founder, Voyant, Inc.
Troy oversees all product development activities at Voyant. Prior to Voyant, he was founder, architect and development director at the Gossamer Group, LLC, an IT consultancy for Fortune 500 financial services firms. A veteran of the dot-com era, Troy has also served as lead developer for Kurion, a content syndication company, and as a configuration specialist for Trilogy, an enterprise software provider. Prior to mainstream software development, he was a pioneer at DuPont and Ingersoll-Rand in the practical application of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and other advanced computational techniques. Troy received a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, both from Virginia Tech.
Arthur "Skip" Walker, CTO & Founder, Voyant, Inc.
Skip oversees Voyant's technology strategy and advanced development initiatives. Prior to Voyant, he was architect, lead developer and founder of the Gossamer Group, LLC, an IT consultancy for Fortune 500 financial services firms. While at Gossamer, Skip led design and development efforts for one of the financial services industry's first SOA-based federated identity management solutions. Skip received a B.S. in Mathematical Sciences from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and an M.S. in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin.
Sonia Grover, Sr. VP Professional Services & Founder, Voyant, Inc.
Sonia leads Voyant's consulting, education and technical support operations. Previously, she was founder of the Gossamer Group, LLC, an IT consultancy for Fortune 500 financial services firms, where she served as director of professional services responsible for the successful implementation of complex financial services applications across diverse enterprise environments. Sonia has held leadership roles in numerous web design and marketing firms, including Echelon Internet Systems and Computer Service Technology, where she was co-founder and COO, and web marketing and design director, respectively. A veteran of the dot-com era, her experience includes positions as a pre-sales and sales engineer, professional services specialist, user interface developer and designer, and business analyst for a handful of startup companies. Sonia received a B.S. in Computer Science and Business from The University of Texas at Dallas.
Bob Freeman, Vice President of Product Management, Voyant UK, Limited
Bob leads product management and was integral in the founding of Voyant UK. He has spent over 30 years in financial services, including more than 20 years in a fee-based financial planning environment, primarily at Mercer. Prior to joining Voyant, Bob worked for Morningstar where he helped to develop adviser facing investment research tools for the UK market and was also responsible for helping to build relationships and promote understanding of Morningstar tools and services among the UK adviser community. He has also held a number of other management and development roles in the area of e-enabled advice solutions, including projects for leading UK banks and life offices, as well as the FSA and HM Treasury. Bob has a B.A Honours Degree from Exeter University and holds the Advanced Financial Planning Certificate of the CII. From 2004, he was a founder member of the Families Working Group within the FSA Financial Capability initiative.
