SECURITY POLICY

Voyant works continuously to protect the privacy and security of your personal and financial information. We update and test our technology regularly to ensure we maintain commercially reasonable standards in securing your financial privacy. Specifically:

We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect personal information. We have designed our systems to ensure that passwords and any other access codes are always private and confidential. For user protection, only users know their access codes. Our employees cannot gain access to them and they will not ask users to reveal them.

Voyant uses reasonable efforts to treat all provided information in a confidential manner. To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, our hosting facility has implemented physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure all of the information we collect through Voyant @Home and Voyant Advisor. Our server instances our contained in Amazon EC2's European Union datacenters. Click here for more information on Amazon Web Services Security.

Only your username and password can gain access to your information. Should a computer with your Voyant portfolio stored on it no longer be under your control, your information will not be accessible. Voyant Advisor and Voyant @Home client records and plans are stored in a secure encrypted database which is bundled with the application. When connected, the applications use secure services to transmit and receive modified client records and plans from the Voyant server. Not only is the local database store encrypted to guard against loss from direct access to files, but it is also protected from unauthorized usage on shared computers by requiring that users log in through the Voyant Advisor and Voyant @Home applications. When connected, login credentials are validated against the Voyant Server application, or with the most recent cached credentials when operating disconnected. The combination of these two approaches successfully guards against loss from unauthorized file and application access

In addition to database file encryption, Voyant Advisor and Voyant @Home also segregate and secure data from other users who might share the same PC. This is done by requiring user authentication. In the case of disconnected usage, authentication information is validated against cached authentication data, which is encrypted and stored with the user's preferences.
